This years year's event
will be November 2-3, 2008. The Chipper Jones Celebrity Golf Invitational has grossed over $ 1,000,000 for Chipperís Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis, Camp Twin Lakes, and Stetson University. Finally, Chipper and the Foundation continue to help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Georgia Chapter) work for a cure to this disease, as Chipper has served as honorary chairman to various committees and personally donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the campaign. Several other projects are in the works, including Helping for the Holidays, where the Foundation will help 10 families in Florida and Georgia to enjoy the holidays a bit more (which has already been started at Westshore Elementary in Tampa), and the Hawkeye Scholarship Program, which will help deserving kids go to college.

"I believe in using my gifts and public image to help the community."
This year marks the sixth year of the Chipper Jones Family Foundation, which has made huge strides in giving back to the communities which helped Chipper get to where he is today. Organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Florida and Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Ranches, Little League programs in Atlanta and Pierson, FL, Stetson University, and the Boys and Girls Clubs have all received gifts from Chipper's Foundation. Included in these programs is the Take 'Em Deep Program where Chipper teams with businesses to make donations to various organizations every time Chipper hits a home run.
The Foundation has also instituted the Around the Horn Program Field of Dreams Program, which has given hundreds of thousands of dollars to area youth baseball programs for repairing and refurbishing youth ballparks in Florida and Georgia. The past three years the Foundation has given grants to the Little League program in Chipper's hometown of Pierson, Florida, the YMCA's project in Atlanta, and the Little League program in DeLand, FL where Chipper played many of his games as a youth. Improving youth's interest in baseball is the purpose of The Chipper Gang, which has been bringing out area kids from the Boys and Girls Clubs for three years to Turner Field for a day at the park.
Chipper invites you to visit the charitable organizations below which he will be working with in the upcoming years:
